While scoring may be the most talked about aspect of basketball, the game goes much deeper. All of these skilled players can impact the game much deeper than just scoring the ball.

Bryce Beal - 2027 - G - Team Herro

While an under the radar guard, Beal has continued to show his ability to do a bit of everything over the past year. This started in his junior season with Whitnall High School where he averaged 4.3 assists, 4.3 rebounds, and 2.3 steals per game. He is an athletic guard who also has some size standing at 6’3” and knows how to play. Beal moves well with the ball in his hands and passes well on the move. In addition, he is an aggressive and active on ball defender who can shut down the ball.

DJ Cooper - 2028 - PG - Hoop Habits

While he showed a great scoring ability in his sophomore season averaging 18.9 points per game with his outside shooting, he was also one of the top distributors of all sophomores in Wisconsin to earn his way onto this list. In the season for Regis, he averaged 5 assists per game. He plays quick with the ball in his hands often being able to get into the defense paired along with good court vision and passing ability to really create for others.

Mamadou Ndiaye - 2027 - C - 24UP

Ndiaye is an intriguing, high upside prospect at 6’9” along with his strong build who gets on this list with both his defensive play and rebounding. Not only does he have great size but is also mobile at his size defending and shutting down the paint and also plays very aggressively attacking the glass on both ends of the floor.

Boti Szabo-Zsamba - 2027 - C - Full Package

Between the spring and summer it was a breakout grassroots season for Szabo-Zsamba who showed great growth in his game. At 6’10” with his strong build, the senior has proven to be a highly impactful player inside with both his defensive play and rebounding. He is a true shot blocker who is mobile around the interior and really battles defensively in the paint. Over the summer he picked up a division two offer from Pittsburgh State and he has his best basketball ahead of him.

Eden Vinyard - 2027 - F - D Rice Elite

While Vinyard can certainly score the basketball, he can also do plenty more on the floor. Standing at 6’8” with his great length and athleticism, there is not much he cannot do on the floor. He is able to impact the game greatly with his shot blocking, rebounding, and passing ability. As a fluid athlete paired along with his physical tools, Vinyard can be all over the interior blocking shots but also defend on the perimeter and be an aggressive rebounder. The senior has several division one offers.
