There are so many worthy candidates for this series so we now move to part three of the column.

Noah Emmanuel - 2027 - PF - Zero Fears

There are a few different pieces of Emmanuel’s game that could land him here but the main one is his defensive play. He has proven to be one of the more versatile defenders in the Chicagoland area as he has great size and length while standing at 6’10” but is also a mobile forward with his athleticism. He can be a true rim protector but also moves well enough to defend out on the perimeter. Emmanuel has a lot of translatable tools for the next level and should be a popular target in his upcoming senior season at Romeoville.

Ian Newble - 2027 - SF - D Rice Elite

Newble is the type of player these articles are made for. He is a true swiss army knife who can do a bit of everything on the court. Newble has good size on the wings standing at 6’7” to go along with his athleticism and length. He was consistently one of the best and most versatile defenders on the NY2LA Association all season with his good ability to defend one through four.

Elijah O’Claire - 2027 - F/C - All Wisconsin

O’Claire has been a big stock booster over the past several months to earn his way here. The 6’9” big man earns his spot for both his rebounding and shot blocking. At the NY2LA Summer Jam back in July he was one of the top rebounders of the entire tournament. With his great size, length, and athleticism, he is able to fly to any missed shot grabbing everything near him. With those tools, he also has a good ability to be a rim protector blocking shots in addition to being mobile enough to get out to the perimeter defensively.

Jaivyn Richardson - 2028 - PG - Ayo Dos Elite

Richardson is an emerging point guard who has made a name for himself over the past several months. As well as scoring with his great range on his jumper, Richardson can make a great impact in a couple of other ways. This includes his defensive play on the ball. Richardson plays with good quickness as well as plenty of defensive energy to be able to effectively pressure the ball. Offensively, he is a shifty guard who has a good ability to get into the paint and create for others.

Jackson Tangley - 2027 - PG - Chippewa Valley Select

While Tangley is a skilled scorer highlighted by his shooting, he makes it here for his distributing as well as his defense. The 6’3” point guard plays smart with the ball in his hands, has good vision and passes it well to have averaged over 5 assists a game in his junior season for Fall Creek. Tangley also has a very good ability to defend the ball out on the perimeter.
