Over the past several months, Trey Kloock has truly started to emerge. With this, the 6’5” two guard of Ohio Premier and Dublin Jerome High School has picked up his first division one offer.
The offer for Kloock came from Tennessee Tech. “It’s an amazing feeling to have a head coach and staff believe in me,” the junior said about receiving his first offer.
The Tennessee Tech offer for Kloock comes after he went to their elite camp back in July of this summer. “I had a great time at the elite camp. It gave me a great opportunity to see the team and the way they play,” he said about the experience. When asked about their thoughts on their program, he said I love everything about Tech from their new facilities to the current staff and team. I also love their style of play.”
In addition to the offer, Kloock has also heard from several other division one programs. This includes schools in the Big Ten, Horizon, Ivy, Missouri Valley, and SoCon.
It was during the grassroots season with Ohio Premier that Kloock emerged as one of the top shooters in the nation's 2028 class. At both the NY2LA Grassroots Showcase and NY2LA Grassroots Invitational tournament he was named a top standout. This included him hitting seven threes in a single game at the Grassroots Invitational back during the July live period.
