We’re taking a deep dive at the Midwest’s region 2029 class with some players who could be primed for standout sophomore seasons and deserve some additional coverage. Here is the first article of this series. 

Caden Bezik - 2029 - G - Kessel Heat

In just his freshman season at Marengo High School, Bezik made a major impact at the varsity level and continued this into the grassroots season. Not only does he have an advanced offensive skill set but also plays with good energy. He is a versatile scorer with his ability to be a tough straight line driver in addition to a consistent three point shooter. His energetic play is highlighted on the defensive side with his aggressive on ball play. 

Sola Kishida - 2029 - PG - MN Magic

Kishida is an incredibly shifty and skilled playmaking point guard. He is highly elusive with the ball, beating defenders off the dribble and maneuvering through the defense with his moves, handles, and change of speed. While he excels on the attack scoring around the paint and mid-range and being a distributor, Kishida also shoots it well from three

Blake Przybylski - 2029 - G - Hortonville

After seeing some time on the varsity level during his freshman season in the winter, the combo guard had a breakout grassroots season. This included being named a top standout at multiple NY2LA tournaments during the season. Not only does Przybylski have a skilled two-way game but also really knows how to play. He excels both with his outside jumper as well as an aggressive downhill driver who plays strong with the ball.

Luke Ramminger - 2029 - G - Chapman North

After just a year of high school, there is already much to like from the game of Ramminger. He has good positional size as a 6’3” guard to go along with a versatile game. This includes his ability to be a three level scorer, be a true point guard, as well as being a tough on ball defender. There are not many 2029’s in Wisconsin with the blend of tools. 

Juel Turner - 2029 - PF - Courts Vision Elite

Over the grassroots season, Turner was one of the more dominant forwards on the NY2LA Association. This included being named a top standout at multiple of these tournaments. He already has some good physical tools standing at 6’5” along with his strong build to go along with his tough, aggressive play. With this in addition to his athleticism, he has shown the ability to be a dominant interior player as both a back to the basket scorer as well as a shot blocker along with growing perimeter tools.
