After being one of the most under the radar players in Wisconsin’s 2027 class, Chris Retic has now gone to being one of the most popular players picking up a lengthy list of offers. This follows his junior season at Golda Meir High School in which he averaged 21.2 points, 11.8 rebounds, 2.2 assists, 2.5 steals, and 5.2 blockers and continued into the grassroots season as one of the top players on the NY2LA Association playing with Jay Academy.

Over just the past couple of months, Retic has reeled in double digits offers. These have come from a wide range of programs including plenty of junior college and NAIA schools. Black Hawk Tech, Fisher College, Central Baptist College, Viterbro University, McHenry County College, William Penn, Milwaukee Area Technical College, Ecclesia College, Washington County College, Cleveland State Community College, Minnesota West and Florida National University have all offered him. In addition to all of his offers, he is also being recruited by Triton College, Kaskaskia College, Rock Valley College, Wabash Valley College, College Of DuPage, Prairie State, Waubonsee College, among others.

To date, Retic has taken visits to both Viterbo and Lakeland. He has visits planned this fall to several of the schools that have offered him. Even with his lengthy list of offers, Retic is in no rush to make his college commitment. He is eyeing towards February or later to make his commitment.

Retic has a unique blend of translatable tools for the next level. As a highly athletic and lengthy 6’7” wing forward, he is a highly impactful player on both ends of the floor with his high energy play. He is a skilled slasher who has also shown the ability to be a consistent three point shooter and is a lob threat. Defensively, he defends multiple positions effectively and also covers plenty of ground as a shot blocker.
