Moving back to our under the radar names to know series as there are so many of them in the Midwest region and across the nation.
Nick Konchan - 2027 - F/C - Full Package
Konchan is an under the radar talent with a lot of tools who should be attracting college interest. In addition to being 6’8”, the senior has continued to add to his game. This includes his ability to stretch the floor as a consistent three point shooter. Konchan can also use his height and solid frame to be an impactful player inside on both ends as a paint protector and strong interior scorer.
Dylan Meehan - 2028 - PF - Ohio Premier
Meehan had multiple standout tournaments during the grassroots season and was even able to excel while playing up a level at 17U. He has some size in the frontcourt at 6’7” but plays even bigger with his strong build and aggressive style of play. The junior is an effective scorer who can do so in a variety of ways including with his back to the basket using his physical tools but also plays tough inside defensively with his great energy. Look for Meehan to have a breakout junior season with Olentangy Liberty High School.
Grayson Pollard - 2027 - PG - Pro Skills Indy
Pollard showed a lot of tools during his grassroots season with Pro Skills Indy. This included being one of the top scorers at the NY2LA Spring Extravaganza during the May live period which included a 24 point game. He showed the ability to be a knockdown outside shooter in addition to good playmaking ability moving well with the ball. Pollard has a good ability to get to his spots and finish versus size around the paint while also being able to run the point and pass it well on the move.
Origin Prewitt - 2027 - PG - All Wisconsin
Each time I’ve seen Prewitt play, he has been a consistent playmaker. This includes a good ability to create for himself but also be a very skilled point guard who can create for his teammates. With his handle, moves, and court awareness, Prewitt has a good ability to get into the defense but can also shoot it off the dribble well in the mid-range. The senior finishes it very well all around the paint versus size while in addition to his ability to be a facilitator on the attack with his decision making. Prewitt recently added an offer from Loras College and should continue to attract interest and offers from division three programs.
Ike Udy - 2027 - SF - Foundation South
Over the past couple of seasons, Udy has continued to be a consistent and highly impactful player for Foundation South. He is an intriguing wing forward with good physicality who stands at 6’5” along with being a high energy and athletic player. Udy also has good versatility to his game being able to play inside and out on both ends of the floor. This includes being able to defend multiple positions effectively plus score in numerous ways. After averaging 6.2 points and 2.5 rebounds in his junior season, look for Udy to greatly build upon these in his senior season for Milton.
