We move on to part three of this series with so many extremely worthy candidates to choose from. 

Cam Beekman - 2028 - F - MidPro Academy

With what he showed during the grassroots season and all his translatable tools, look for Beekman to have a big junior season with Metamora and boost his recruitment. As well as being 6’7”, Beekman is an athletic forward with a growing game. He plays with plenty of energy and toughness to be a dominant rebounder along with being a strong finisher inside.  

Kale Graff - 2028 - PG - Wisconsin Legends

With all the talent De Pere consistently has, there continues to be breakout players each year for them and Graff is up next. In his junior season he averaged 1.5 points as part of a loaded backcourt but really emerged over the grassroots season as one of the top 2028 players on the NY2LA Association. He is a dominant and versatile player who led the Legends all the way to the title game of the NY2LA Association. 

Caden Hagerstrom - 2028 - SF - Wisconsin Blizzard

Hagerstrom had an impactful season as a sophomore with Wrightstown averaging 6 points and 5.1 rebounds and look for him to make the next jump. He has a good blend of size at 6’6”, length, versatile game, and physicality. His versatility extends to the offensive end where he can use his size and strength to score it all around the basket but also play out on the perimeter and handle the ball. 

Jason Jimenez - 2028 - F/C - WM Premier

With what he showed during the grassroots season, Jimenez could be a breakout name this winter in Michigan’s 2028 class. His big grassroots season including being named a top performer at the NY2LA Grassroots Showcase. As well as being 6’8” to be a highly productive player inside on both ends of the floor, he has also shown a developing game including greater range on his jumper. 

Jake Tripp - 2028 - PF - Illinois Wolves

Whether it was with Palatine High School in June or the Illinois Wolves in the grassroots season, Tripp has shown plenty of growth in his game. He is a 6’8” power forward with a solid build who plays with good energy, plays tough inside on both ends, and can also shoot the ball well from three. While already a productive player, Tripp has his best basketball ahead of him and could be one of the top 2028 big men in the Chicagoland area this high school season.
