Over the past few years the term underrecruited has become extremely overused. Though, if a player were to ever fit the term of underrecruited perfectly, it is senior point guard Breaker Heller. 

Whether he has been playing for Westland High School (OH) or the Renaissance University on the grassroots level, Heller has continued to produce throughout his high school career over the past three years. This includes earning first team honors in the All-OCC this past season as a junior. While playing with Renaissance University, Heller quickly emerged showing his extremely high skill level back in the spring of his freshman year. During this run, he was one of the top players at the 15U level of the NY2LA Association. His game has only continued to progress over the past couple of years. This included being named a top standout at the NY2LA Swish N’ Dish tournament this spring. 

Even with Heller’s high skill level and everything he has produced on the court, this has not translated yet to his recruitment. To this point, the recruitment of the senior point guard has yet to get started. 

There are few seniors who have all the tools of Heller and still have not seen their recruitment start. He is a quick and athletic point guard with a high skill level who excels on both ends of the floor. He plays with great energy defensively as an aggressive on ball defender. As well, he is also extremely productive on the offensive side with his ability to both score and distribute it. Heller is at his best playing on the attack with his speed, handle, and ability to finish amongst size but has also proven his shot making ability too. Plus, Heller is a highly skilled passer with a good ability to read the floor. There are few players with all the abilities of his and very few holes in his game. 

At some point, college coaches will start watching Heller and one program will be getting a steal in the 2027 class.
