Dorion Jackson – 2027 – G – D Rice Elite

For colleges looking for a shooter, Jackson is a guard to know. His pure jumper from three was on display throughout the entire season for a very good D Rice Elite team. While he’s at his best playing off the ball moving well to find his shots and being able to quickly get into his shot, Jackson can also run the point. He plays quick with the ball flying by defenders in addition to passing it well on the attack.

John Kruse – 2028 – C – Closed Gyms

After averaging 4.3 points and 2.4 rebounds in his sophomore season at Kettle Moraine Lutheran, Kruse showed great growth in his game during the grassroots season with Closed Gyms. This was especially true while playing up a level at the NY2LA Summer Jam tournament. As well to being 6’7” with a strong build, Kruse plays with good toughness and energy down in the paint on both ends. The post scores it well playing with his back to the basket with soft touch and a good array of moves while also being an aggressive rebounder. He is a big man to track moving into his junior season.

Dean Lewis – 2027 – G/F – Legacy Select

There are plenty of aspects to like from the game of Lewis. He stands at 6’5” in addition to his length and great athleticism along with a well-rounded game. His versatility extends to both sides of the ball being able to defend both guards and forwards well in addition to his ability to do so much offensively. While he has a well-rounded offensive game, Lewis excels as a slasher while using his size and length to get to the basket and finish. He recently picked up an offer from Albion College and only look for his recruitment to build as he moves into his senior year.

Griffin McNeill – 2027 – SG – Midwest Bobcats

McNeil has been a huge stock booster this grassroots season including at the NY2LA Summer Jam tournament last month. The senior has a nice blend of positional size as a 6’3” guard and a good frame along with a well-rounded offensive game. He had one of the top games of that tournament while scoring 26 points. With his elevated offensive skill set, McNeill has a three-level scoring ability. He shoots it well both from mid-range and three as well to being effective as a cutter.

Gary Thorpe – 2027 – PG – Jay Academy

With his consistent high level of play throughout the spring and summer, Thorpe is a point guard that college coaches need to know about. He is a true playmaker with the ball in his hands with a great ability to create for himself and others. Thorpe plays incredibly quick with the ball in his hands getting plenty of paint touches. His playmaking also extended as he has continued to improve his shot making ability from three as well to his active on ball defensive play being able to defend the length of the court.
