Following the July live periods, there are plenty of stock boosters to track. Here are just a few of the many from around the Midwest region.

Tej Johnson – 2027 – G – Full Package

In each of the two July live events at the Grassroots Invitational and then the Summer Jam, Johnson showcased his shot making ability. Whether it was from the outside or creating his shot in the mid-range, the guard was hitting hist jumpers at a high percentage. He also showed an improved ability handling the ball and being a facilitator.

Kason Mangum – 2027 – F – MTXE Premier

There is much to like from the game of Mangum in what he showed with his elevated play at the Summer Jam tournament. The forward has a good blend of abilities with having some size in the frontcourt at 6’6” along with a well-rounded game and his outside shooting ability. Mangum has consistently proven to be a consistent three-point shooter while also playing with plenty of toughness inside as a rebounder and finisher.

Connor Sickler – 2027 – F – 24UP

While Sickler had some good games at the Grassroots Invitational to start off July, he was even better the next weekend at Summer Jam with a breakout tournament. As well to being 6’7”, he is an athletic forward with a growing game. This includes his ability to get to the rim and be an explosive finisher as well as a consistent spot up outside shooter. With all his tools, Sickler is a forward that needs to be on college coaches’ radars.  

Adam Tribul – 2028 – G – D Rice Elite

It was a big stock boosting Summer Jam tournament for Tribul. He was a big piece of D Rice Elite winning the 16U association championship. This included him scoring 15 points while hitting four threes in the championship game victory in addition to multiple other standout games. More than having a pure jumper, Tribul is. a combo guard who can run the point as consistently showed a good passing ability throughout that tournament.

Ben Wittnebel – 2028 – SG – Wisconsin Academy

The recruitment of Wittnebel has continued to greatly build throughout 2026 and this has especially been the case this summer. Back in the spring he received his first offer coming from Northern Michigan, a division two program. Though in the summer he has cemented himself as a division one prospect landing offers from Green Bay, Northern Illinois, and Southern Utah. Wittnebel is a highly intriguing rising junior with his great positional size as a 6’6” wing guard to go along with his offensive skill set including mid-range pullup game.
