Throughout the spring and summer while playing with the Racine Truth, 2027 Dalton Ahlensdorf continued to show more and more on the court. The 6’5” small forward was one of the more productive players throughout the grassroots season on the NY2LA Association. In his junior season at The Prairie School, he averaged 10.8 points while shooting 52.3% from the field in addition to 6.0 rebounds, 1.6 assists, and 1.8 blocks.

With the help of Ahlensdorf, Racine Truth found plenty of success this season on the NY2LA Association. This included going 3-1 at the Spring Extravaganza, 4-0 at the Next Level Invitational, 4-0 at the Grassroots Invitational, and going 3-0 in pool play at Summer Jam. “It was great I love playing with my teammates and I thoroughly enjoyed every second on and off the court spending time and growing closer with my teammates,” Ahlensdorf said about his season with the Racine Truth.

“Multiple ways,” is how Ahlensdorf sees his game translating to the college level. “I feel that my defensive mind will be prominent at the next level with my ability to block shots and defend the post and on ball. And offensively, the ability to play multiple positions and my athleticism will have an impact.”

While Ahlensdorf may stand at 6’5”, he can play considerably bigger with his athleticism. He in an incredibly explosive wing forward who gets off the floor quickly. This has continued to be seen with his great ability to finish strong at the rim in addition to his shot blocking. As well to his great bounce, his game has continued to develop into more of a well-rounded player. This includes his ability to handle the ball and score on the attack and becoming a more consistent outside shooting threat. This is all in addition to his tough and energetic style of play to a be a consistent, versatile, and highly impactful player. He has an intriguing blend of abilities that should continue to get him on a greater amount of college coaches’ radars.
