There are plenty of very worthy candidates for his with all the talent and stock boosters from Summer Jam. Here is the first group of them.

Mykendrick Brazil – 2027 – PF – Team Hali

Brazil was a huge piece of Team Hali’s Association championship run consistently making a big impact along the way. He is a 6’7” post with a strong build who has shown great growth in his game as he was effective inside on both ends of the floor. This was especially true with his interior scoring ability as he scored it on a high percentage of his post touches as a back to the basket scorer. He uses his physical tools to overpower defenders on the block while also showing some footwork and touch as well to being able to face up to the basket. In the championship game victory, he had a pair of key post up baskets in the final three minutes to go up 4 in addition to a transition basket in the final minute of the game. Brazil is an under the radar big man that needs to be on college coaches’ radars.

Landon Lethunya – 2027 – F – Full Package

This was one of the better tournaments of the season for Lethunya especially in his opening game of the tournament. In just the second half of this game, he scored 13 points. He was effective both going to the basket as well as from the outside. He has continued to grow as a shooter hitting a pair of threes just in this half playing out of the pick and pop. The athletic 6’8” forward also scored it very well on rolls and cuts to the basket using his explosiveness and length finishing strong at the rim for multiple dunks. He is a big target on his rolls and cuts with good hands as well to quickly getting of the ground finishing.

Mikhi Pratt-Hassan – 2027 – G – Racine Truth

The guard started the tournament in a big way in helping the Racine Truth go 3-0 in bracket play. In his opening game he hit a three on the opening play then another pair of early baskets to give his team a very quick 9-1 lead in a win where he scored 15 points. Pratt-Hassan showed a versatile scoring ability over multiple games. This includes shooting it well from three both off the dribble and catch. He also showed some shifty moves breaking down defenders to be able to get all the way to the rim and finish well there too.

Jeremiah Smith – 2027 – G/F – Reach Legends

Smith is a highly versatile and impactful player who did so much on the court throughout the tournament. The 6’4” wing has a well-rounded skill set along with playing with plenty of toughness. He is a physical downhill driver powering his way through defenders but was also spotting up for threes at a high percentage. As well, Smith is a very tough rebounder in traffic, can handle the ball, and defend multiple positions.

Jackson Tangley – 2027 – G – Chippewa Valley Select

The pure shooting and scoring of Tangley was a big piece of his teams run to winning the gold championship. This included him hitting 6 threes in a bracket play game to finish with 22 points. He then led them in a semifinal win scoring 19 points followed by 26 points in the championship win while hitting 5 threes. As well to his high three-point totals, Tangley is a 6’2” guard who also showed a good ability to handle the ball running the point while also being a facilitator.

Drevaun Veal – 2027 – SG – ALL IN

Veal had some of the top scoring performances of Summer Jam. In his opening game, he scored 29 points in a win and followed that up by going for 27 points in his next game. The wing guard can spot up and hit the three hitting several throughout the tournament but really excels with his play on the attack. He has some size in the backcourt at 6’3” along with a strong build and was very effective as a tough, straight line driver being able to play and finish through plenty of contact. More than just a scorer, the guard was also contributing in a variety of ways with his energetic play including tough on ball defense and rebounding it at a high rate as a guard.

Cayden Vosters – 2027 – PG – Wisconsin Blizzard

While a very good talented point guard, Vosters has continued to also get it done with his scoring over the last two tournaments. At Summer Jam he had one of the top shooting performances of the entire tournament in which he drilled five threes in a single half scoring 18 points. When overplayed on the outside, he was then beating defenders back cutting for baskets. His pure shooting is in addition to also being able to create so effectively for his teammates being able to get into the defense and decision making on the move. Vosters also played with good energy defensively using his quickness in addition to taking charge during his scoring outburst.
