While there are several dozen games that could be included on this list, here are several that should be atop the list.
17U D Rice Elite vs. Wisconsin Legends
Friday – Court 3 5:10pm @ Pacer Athletic Center
There is plenty of talent all over in this 17U matchup of two of the top teams from the spring on the NY2LA Association. D Rice Elite got great production of their own all spring from 6’5” wing guard Jensen LePla. They also had a major addition in 6’8” forward Eden Vinyard for the summer who has multiple high major offers. Wisconsin Legends will counter with a talented 6’5” wing guard of their own in Trace Damrow who has been attracting interest from several division two programs. The Legends also have good depth on the roster with Quinn Wesenberg, Isaac Feske, Carson Samson, and others.
17U Pro Lane vs. Full Package
Saturday – Court 3 1:30pm @ Pacer Athletic Center
This game will feature plenty of depth on each side with a variety of plays who have made a great impact all spring. Full Package features a highly intriguing front court with the high upside duo of 6’8” Landon Lethunya who is drawing plenty of division one interest plus 6’9” Boti Szabo-Zsamba who recently picked up a division two offer from Pittsburgh State. Pro Lane includes Blake Basich and Riley Walz in their talented backcourt in addition to do-it-all wing Theo Toepel. Will be an intriguing matchup of talented guards versus a very big front court.
17U Michigan Warriors vs. Gxfted Elite
Sunday – Court 2 10:10am @ Pacer Athletic Center
This is an under the radar matchup that should have plenty of coaches’ eyes on it with one of the top player matchups of the tournament. This game is headlined by a pair of 6’5” wings in Kobe Drake for Michigan Warriors up against Jamal Pickering of Gxfted Elite. The 2028 Drake has been a breakout star throughout the spring while playing up a level. Pickering is an under the radar name who was home schooled but has a ton of tools for the next level as a strong and athletic two-way wing.
16U D Rice Elite vs. Mammoth
Saturday – Court 3 6:55pm @ Pacer Athletic Center
As well to these above games at the 17U level, this one at the 16U level should be an exciting one between D Rice and Mammoth. The always talented D Rice programs features a dynamic backcourt with the elusive playmaking point guard Joseph Arnold alongside the knockdown shooting of Wyatt Ball and the well-rounded 6’3” guard Denham Butler. This 2028 Mammoth squad is an under the radar team with several talented players and has continued to impress this grassroots season. The roster includes the versatile 6’5” forward Owen Birschbach and the gifted shot maker Brayden Smith who averaged 21.6 points in his sophomore high school season.
