Now that we are officially in the summer, one last stock booster article looking back at the spring with a few more noteworthy players.
Alex Armstrong – 2027 – G/F – West Michigan Premier
During the winter Armstrong picked up an offer from a division three program and NAIA program, now his recruitment has gone to another level. This started with an offer from division two Northwood in May, but since has added four division one offers coming from Boston University, Central Michigan, Southern Illinois, and UIC. Armstrong is a versatile and lengthy 6’6” wing that is a highly impactful player on both ends of the court.
Mohammad Badwan – 2027 – SG – Chapman North
Badwan has been a highly productive player over the past couple of years but has continued to greatly grow his game which has resulted in his recruitment starting up. This included him receiving his first division one offer coming from Morgan State. Not only is Badwan a strong and physical two guard, but he is a highly skilled scorer who knows how to play. He just has a knack for scoring the basketball and can get it done from all three levels.
Vincent Cronin – 2027 – SF – D1 Minnesota
While Cronin entered the spring without any division one offers, that quickly changed as he has become one of the more sought after 2027 wings in the entire Midwest. He has picked up nine offers over just the past few months which includes ones from Loyola Chicago, Miami (OH), North Dakota State, St. Thomas, UIC, and others. The 6’7” wing forward is one of the more explosive players in the region. He also has some versatility as a high energy wing who can shoot the three, finishes strong at the rim, and rebounds well on both ends. He is also drawing some high major interest.
Trace Damrow – 2027 – SG – Wisconsin Legends
Damrow really emerged this spring while playing with the Wisconsin Legends. Not only does the rising senior have great positional size as a lengthy 6’5” wing guard but also a well-rounded game and some athleticism. He is a consistent outside shooter who can also score it in a variety of ways but also do a bit of everything on the court. He has drawn some division two interest which included taking a visit to Maryville in addition to picking up offers from Waldorf and Hamline.
Boti Szabo-Zsamba – 2027 – C – Full Package
As well to having great physical tools, the post has continued to progress recently. Not only does he stand at 6’9” but also has a very strong build. As well to playing with plenty of energy and some physicality.
