One 2028 out of Texas already drawing plenty of college interest in Kenny Turner. This includes offers and further interest for the 6’2” point guard of 3D Empire and Mansfield High School.

The 2028-point guard already holds a pair of division one offers. These are from Marquette and UT-Arlington. Each of these offers for Turner came last summer. He also has a few other programs showing interest in him including Boise State and UNLV.

During his spring season, Turner was one of the top players at the 16U level of the Grassroots Showcase back in April while playing with 3D Empire. He was one of the top scorers of the entire tournament with games of 23 points and 22 points. The point guard is a skilled and highly efficient scorer who plays well with the ball in his hands. While he is more than consistent outside shooter, Turner really excels playing on the attack. He is quick with the ball and maneuvers well through the defense as well to being a very tough finisher around the basket through contact.

“I feel like I’m a score first guard,” Turner said about his own game. “But can also pass really good my defense pretty well and a leader on the court. And I’m a player that will do whatever it takes to win.” One goal he has this summer to improve his game is to be in the “weight room a lot more.”

Next up for Turner this upcoming weekend with Mansfield High School is the TABC tournament on Friday and Saturday.
