As players in the 2030 class make the move up to the high school level, there are plenty that are already making a splash. Here are a few in the Midwest region who already have highly advanced games.

Keegan Krull – 2030 – PG – Davis Brothers Elite

Krull has continued to player at an extremely high level over the past couple of years with Davis Brothers Elite. This spring this includes leading them to the championship game at NY2LA Swish N’ Dish as well as winning the championship at the NY2LA Generation Next Invitational. Krull has already shown the ability to be a true point guard playing strong with the ball in his hands with a very good passing ability reading the floor but is also a skilled scorer. The guard can both shoot the three at a high percentage as well as excel getting to the basket. He has also been a highly consistent guard consistently making a huge impact and is a high IQ guard. Krull will be going to SPASH.  

Elijah McKinnie – 2030 – PG – Greater Purpose

McKinnie has been a standout to start the June high school season as he starts his time with Kenwood Academy. Even as a 2030, he was one of the more impressive point guards at the Riverside Brookfield Shootout. While not event starting high school yet, he has already shown a well-rounded game with his ability to run the point and be a playmaker on the attack, defend the ball, and hit shots off the dribble from both the mid-range and three. McKinnie already moves exceptionally well with the ball and plays with good feel.

Amar’e Ozier – 2030 – G – Team Herro

Ozier is a highly skilled scorer with a good ability to create for himself but also has a well-rounded game too. The guard excels playing on the attack both being able to break down defends off the dribble but also plays with good physicality as well playing through traffic. He can also score it from the outside being a consistent three-point shooter off the dribble. As well to his high-level scoring ability, he is also a high energy guard who is plays well defending the ball as well to rebounding effectively as a guard. Ozier will be playing for Racine Case High School (WI).

Brighton Webb – 2030 – SF – Team Herro

Webb has continued to play at a high level throughout the spring as he has a very unique blend of abilities for a player not in high school yet. This even includes playing up at the 15U level of the Nike EYBL with Team Herro where he had a 22-point game. Along with already having good physical tools as a lengthy 6’5” wing forward, Webb is also an explosive player with an advanced and versatile all-around game.

Brock Weeden – 2030 – G – Wisconsin Academy

Weeden has shined over the past few years with Wisconsin Academy. He is a long, tough, and athletic 6’2” who has continued to show that he can do a bit of everything on the court with his well-rounded game. The highly versatile guard has had plenty of twenty plus point games this spring with Wisconsin Academy but can do so much more. This included games of 27 points and 25 points this past weekend at the UA Future Finals. Weeden excels playing on the attack both as a scorer and a facilitator with a great passing ability.
