It has been a major few months both on and off the court for 2027 Garrett Crull. This started in his junior season at McFarland where he earned all-state honorable mention from the WBCA in a highly successful season. Then into the spring, 6’5” guard of the Wisconsin Swing has received his first pair of scholarship offers.

In his all-state junior season, Crull averaged 18.7 points per game. He helped McFarland advance all the way to the division two state semifinals.

Now into the spring Crull has started to see his recruitment take off. This started in May when he picked up his first division two offer coming from South Dakota Mines. Then more recently this month, he has added another division two offer coming from Minnesota State Moorhead. As well to this pair of offers, Crull is also receiving interest from both division one and two programs. Included in this group is Hillsdale, Lipscomb, Michigan Tech, Minnesota State Mankato, Missouri S&T, and Winona State.

In another step with his recruitment, he recently took a visit to Hillsdale back in May. “It was great,” Crull said about the visit. “I really liked the coaches and how they run the program, there also seems to be great team chemistry and I was very impressed with the facilities,” he added in on what he likes about them.

Crull is one of the more unique players in Wisconsin’s 2027 class as he stands at 6’5” along with true point guard tools. “I see my game translating through my playmaking skills whether it is creating a shot for a teammate or getting to my spot for a basket. I also think my defense and rebounding has improved allowing me to be a more solid all-around player,” Crull said about his game translating to the next level.
