The 2029 class was fully on display at the Next Level Invitational with plenty of talent as well as long term prospects. Here are several standouts from the group.

Andrew Dillin – 2029 – G – Wisconsin Academy

The combo guard scored it well throughout the tournament in a 3-1 weekend which included a 21-point game. He has a high skill level which includes his ability to distribute the ball very well as a strong passer on the move as well to being a knockdown shooter. This included hitting four threes in a single game as well to shooting it at a high percentage pulling up in the mid-range. He has an advanced skill set for his age, good court vision, and knows how to play.

Xavier John – 2029 – PG – All Wisconsin

John is a highly versatile guard who did a bit of everything contributing to three wins for All Wisconsin. Not only did he show a good ability to run the point while consistently playing under control with the ball and creating effectively for his teammates with a good passing ability but did plenty more. He is a guard with a strong build and plays tough defensively not just on the perimeter but also plays big inside defensively versus forwards. Not only can he defend size inside but also outrebound them too. John was also effective playing on the attack with his vision, playing off of two feet and finishing around the paint.

Taylor Matthews – 2029 – PG – Davis Brothers Elite

Matthews shined in the second half of his team’s first half leading a dominant second half run to win by 21. He is a skilled playmaking point guard with the ball in his hands. Matthews is at his best creating for himself but also being a facilitator on the attack. He was creating for himself moving well with the ball in his hands, shooting it well off the dribble from the outside, and finishing through contract around the paint.

Landon Mrotek – 2029 – G – All Wisconsin

Mrotek is a high energy and impactful guard who was making a ton of plays throughout the tournament helping All Wisconsin to a 3-1 record. His impactful play was especially clear on the defensive side where in a single game he had a few steals while forcing even more turnovers including a five count. He really works on the defensive side both on the ball or in help and in the passing lanes. Offensively, Mrotek plays well driving to distribute it as well as an outside shooter.

Blake Przybylski – 2029 – G – Davis Brothers Elite

After playing at a very high level at the NY2LA Spring Extravaganza a few weeks ago, the guard once again did at this tournament which was evident in a pair of wins Saturday. For a player just finishing their freshman year, Przybylski has a very good blend of skills and feel. This is highlighted by his all-around scoring ability while also being able to be a primary ball handler and create for others on the attack. In a dominant win, he excelled with his ability playing strong on the attack and finishing through contact but also being a capable shooter from the mid-range and three.

Luke Ramminger – 2029 – PG – Chapman North

Ramminger has an advanced game as a two-way point guard. This includes being a tough on ball defender in the half court as he moves very well with the ball including blocking some shots while on the ball. Offensively, Ramminger showed a good ability to run the point but was even better as a scorer. He scored it effectively from all three levels especially while on the attack getting all the way to the rim as well as pulling up in the mid-range.

Logan Redditt – 2029 – PG – Zero Fears

Redditt consistently proved to be an incredibly tough to defend off the dribble. The point guard plays so quick with the ball with an explosive first step as well as great shiftiness and tight handle. He beats defenders with ease and maneuvers going right through a team’s defense as well as pushing the ball in transition. He was consistently making plays over the two days for a 3-1 record for his team. Redditt finished it well all around the paint and mid-range on his drives while also being able to facilitate it dumping it off inside.
