Owen Birschbach – 2028 – SF – Mammoth
Birschbach is a versatile and energetic 6’5” wing forward. He was a highly impactful player throughout the tournament with everything he can do included scoring 23 points in an overtime win. He has a very well-rounded offensive game with using his size and strength scoring inside including posting up but also play out on the perimeter and handle the ball well. Birschbach is also a versatile and energetic defender being effective both in the paint and on the perimeter.
Jaylen Francis – 2028 – SF – Zero Fears
Francis is a highly productive player who also has some tools for the next level too already. He was a big reason why his team went 4-0 on the day which included scoring 25 points in one of the wins. He is a lengthy and athletic 6’6” wing forward with some good offensive tools while also being able to battle tough down in the paint playing with good energy. Francis shoots the ball well spotting up from the outside while also finishing the ball strong at the basket through contact.
Terrin Jackson – 2028 – PG – Wisconsin Academy
Jackson scored it in double figures in multiple games including 19 points in the final game to finish off a 4-0 tournament. Though the point guard also distributed it well both in the half court as well as in transition as a skilled passer. He was very effective as a scorer on the attack getting all the way to the basket as well as hitting shots pulling up in the mid-range and has a good ability to get to the line often.
Tyler Johnson – 2028 – SF – Team Hali
Johnson is an extremely bouncy 6’6” wing forward with good length. The fluid athlete showed good offensive tools including making plays off the dribble. He scored on multiple driving dunks during the tournament as well to showing a growing jumper both spotting up from three as well as pulling up in the mid-range. Johnson also played active inside on both ends finishing it over defenders, rebounding with his length, and being a shot blocker.
Cameron Lutfiyya – 2028 – G – Team Hali
Lutfiyya had multiple standout games including scoring 16 points in his last game of the tournament. He maneuvers extremely well with the ball going through heavy traffic and was able to finish in the paint versus size playing well through contact. In his 16-point game he also hit a couple of threes including a first half buzzer beater.
Brandon Newell – 2028 – SG – Full Package
Newell was instrumental in a double-digit comeback. This included him scoring 15 points in just the second half as well to playing with great energy. As well to hitting a three in this high scoring stretch, he scored it very well attacking the basket strong. This included a basket inside in the final seconds to send it to overtime. The 6’3” guard was very active finishing the ball strong around the basket including on a couple of and one plays. With his energy, Newell also made some key plays defensively down the stretch including a couple of steals and a help block.
Jayden Przybilla – 2028 – SF – Milwaukee Trail Blazers
Przybilla shined in a win in which he scored 13 points in just the second half to push the game out of reach. As well to being a 6’7” wing forward with good length, he showed a well-rounded game. This was highlighted by his shooting ability as he hit three threes in just this one half while also being able to handle the ball and score it going to the basket.
Jaquan Turner – 2028 – SG – Team Herro
In multiple games, the lengthy 6’4” wing guard excelled playing on the attack. This included showing a more versatile offensive game as he was not only scoring aggressively driving to the basket and using his explosiveness to finish at the rim. Turner also scored the ball scoring out of the mid-post, posting up on the block, using his positional size to create mismatches, and hit turnaround jumpers.
