After two articles on top performers we move on to the stock boosters who all had some big time performances as well at this weekends NY2LA Next Level Invitational.

James Ferguson – 2027 – PG – Team Hali

With his scoring and distributing ability, Ferguson had multiple standout games. This included scoring 17 points in a win Sunday. He has good handle and plays very quick with the ball in his hands to be a skilled playmaker often getting deep into the defense. Ferguson showed a very good ability to finish all around the paint amongst traffic while also having good vision facilitating the ball out. He was also effective in transition as a skilled passer pushing the ball up court.

Isaac Feske – 2027 – SF – Wisconsin Legends

It’s another appearance on this list by Feske has he continued to build to his game. During the tournament he had efficient games of 16 and 14 points. As well to growing into a more consistent three-point threat, Feske also looked more comfortable handling the ball driving to the basket. He was also effective using his powerful build to score with his back to the basket doing this versus post players with a few inches on him as he was able to power right through them.  

AJ Hendricks – 2027 – SG – Team 1848

There are plenty of aspects to like from the game of Hendricks with some positional size at 6’3”, versatile skill set, and plays hard. The guard can really shoot the ball from three which included hitting back-to-back threes early in one of his game to build a double-digit lead in an eventual 20-point win. This hot shooting run helped him scored 13 points just in the first half of this game. He also rebounds the ball well as a guard while crashing the offensive glass for multiple put back baskets in this one game. As well, Hendricks also plays tough defensively and can handle the ball to create for others.

Nick Konchan – 2027 – F/C – Full Package

Konchan played well in each of his two games Sunday while showing even greater upside. He scored 12 points in his first game of the day followed by 18 points in his next one. He stands at 6’8” with a solid frame while also showing a growing skill set. The post can step out and shoot the three hitting a trio of them in these two games while also using his physical tools to score it strong around the basket. While his game is still building, Konchan is a high upside big to track.

Origin Prewitt – 2027 – PG – All Wisconsin

Prewitt is a skilled playmaking point guard who impressed throughout the tournament. While he scored 11 points in a game Sunday, he stood out even more with his distributing ability as well as playing tough on ball defense. The point guard handles the ball well and was often getting into the defense where he was always looking to create for his teammates. Prewitt also scored it effectively on the attack finishing all around the paint including on a pair of and one runners.

Kooper Richards – 2027 – PG – North Oakland Wolfpack

Richards a was a big reason why the Wolfpack went 3-1 while playing a tough schedule. He had some double-digit scoring games shooting the ball well in the mid-range as well as scoring around the paint on drives but lands here with his facilitating. Richards showed a very good ability to create for his teammates as a skilled passer on the move with a good ability to read the floor quickly.

Keyon’Dre Thornton – 2027 – PG – Wisconsin Dynasty

Thornton has continued to show his playmaking abilities with the ball this spring. He is an elusive point guard moving directions so effectively creating separation as well as with his quickness. He excelled in a first half of a game where he scored 10 points with his shot making. In this single half, Thornton hit a trio of mid-range pullup jumpers, hitting them at a high percentage. He also scored it getting all the way to the basket. As well to his scoring, Thornton also passes it well on the attack with good court vision.

Jordan Wordlaw – 2027 – G/F – Zero Fears

Wordlaw is an under the radar player that showed a very good scoring ability. He is a lengthy 6’4” wing with some athleticism too. He stood out in a 15-point performances with his shot making ability. This was with a very effective mid-range pull-up game doing so at a high percentage hitting three of them in a short stretch. As well to being able to quickly rise up in the mid-range, Worldlaw also moves well with the ball getting all the way to the basket.
