Five more players from the 16U level of the NY2LA Spring Extravaganza who all had standout weekends in Wisconsin.

Tyson Bookter – 2028 – PG – Wisconsin Legends

Bookter showed his ability to both score and distribute it with 15 points and 7 assists in a single game. In this performance he showed his shooting ability hitting four threes. Much more than just a shooter, he is a smart point guard who passed it very well both in the half court while getting into the defense and in transition with good decision making.   

KJ Brown – 2028 – G – Mercury Elite

The 6’2” guard showed good playmaking ability with the ball in his hands. This included hitting a game winning, step back three in the final seconds of a game. In this win, he scored 18 points while hitting four threes. As well to his shooting, he also plays strong with the ball in his hands getting into the paint to both score and distribute the ball. Brown is a good passer on the attack who looks to create for his teammates.

Omer Gabela – 2028 – SF – Full Package

As well to having some size on the wings at 6’5”, Gabela also showed a versatile game on both ends of the floor. Offensively, he flashed a three-level scoring ability and knows how to play. This includes being able to handle the ball scoring on the attack as well as being able to hit jumpers from the mid-range and three including off the dribble with a smooth jumper. Defensively he showed the ability to play big inside blocking shots while also moving well on the perimeter.

Hudson Henry – 2028 – PG – Wisconsin Blizzard

While he showed some scoring tools, Henry really shined with his point guard abilities as the floor general of this undefeated team. He has tight handle, sees the floor well on the move and is also a skilled passer. Henry also contributed to the wins with his high energy play diving all out on the floor and hitting threes.

King Pierce-Black – 2028 – F/C – Courts Vision Elite

At the 16U level, Piece-Black was one of the top rim protectors. He is a lengthy 6’7” post who is active inside defensively being able to block and alter shots in bunches all around the paint. He also showed his physicality on the offensive end while posting up going strong into defenders to score the ball inside. Pierce-Black is a high upside big man in the 2028 class to track.
