With a day full of basketball on Saturday, there was plenty of players to pick from here. He is a sample of the day’s standouts.
Brian Bridges III – 2030 – PG – REACH Legends
Even while playing up a level, Bridges still had one of the top performances of the day. This included a game high 27 points as well to some game winning free throws. In just the last couple of seconds of play, Bridges hit a pair of free throws to take a two-point lead and then another two to go up 4 and put the game away. The point guard is incredibly quick and shifty with the ball in his hands consistently getting into the defense finishing it so well in traffic over defenders at his size.
Kobe Drake – 2028 – G/F – Michigan Warriors
It was another big day of hoops for Drake at the Spring Extravaganza. This included games of 21 points as well as 18 points. In a single half of play, the sophomore went for 17 points with his aggressive attacking play. Drake is a 6’5” wing with a strong build and was consistently playing right through contact getting to the basket and finishing at a very high percentage.
Demarion Epperson – 2026 – SF – Gxfted Elite
Epperson took over right from the start of a game with his playu on the offensive glass. The powerful and energetic wing forward had a trio of put back baskets in just the first few minutes of play. Foster scored 10 points in just the first 8 minutes of play and kept on scoring in bunches from there. The point guard finished with the top scoring performance of the day with 36 points in a victory. This included some key baskets and plays in the final two minutes to seal the win. While he hit a couple of threes in the game, Foster really excelled on the attack finishing extremely well around the paint as well as hitting mid-range jumpers.
Chris Retic – 2027 – SF – Jay Academy
With another big game, Retic has been one of the top players of this tournament as well as one of the biggest stock boosters in Wisconsin’s 2027 class this spring. This was with a dominant 29-point performances leading Jay Academy to one of their two wins on the day. While such a versatile player and scorer, the 6’7” wing was extremely effective all game playing on the attack and finishing at the rim. He also made plenty of plays on the defensive side in this win with his energy and length.
