Here is our last group of standouts from the 14U level of the Generation Next Invitational with part four.

Cam Craig – PG – Wisconsin Legends

The point guard play of helped the Legends reach the semifinals. In the quarterfinals win, not only did Craig score 12 points but also distributed it well as a skilled passer. He maneuvers through the defense extremely well changing speeds getting wherever he wants on the floor. On the attack Craig finished it well at the basket as well as around the paint and mid-range with floaters and pullup jumpers playing well in tight windows.

Dawson Henry – G – Wisconsin Blizzard

Henry helped his Blizzard team go undefeated in pool play. This included scoring 12 points in just the second half in one of these wins. This included knocking down several free throws at a high percentage to seal the win down the stretch. The guard plays strong with the ball in his hands along with a high IQ. While he played well the ball getting into the defense, he also knocked down a three in the game.

Alijah Moutry – PG – ABP Athletics

Moutry is a shifty point guard who plays well with the ball in his hands. With his moves and quick first step, he has a good ability to beat defenders off the dribble getting plenty of paint touches while operating well through traffic. Moutry scored it well both at the basket as well as all around the paint with his floater.

Timothy Mueller – SG – H-A-L Elite

The good size two guard shined with his shot making in the championship game. Up against a very good defensive team, Mueller hit a trio of threes in addition to mid-range pullup jumpers knocking down his shots at a high percentage. Mueller also plays with good energy defensively and can matchup with multiple positions effectively.

Edwin Sprouls – F – Foundation Gold

Sprouls is a high energy and tough forward that made plenty of plays in a bracket game win on Sunday to get them into the quarterfinals. The strong 6’2” forward scored it effectively both in the mid-range hitting jumpers as well as inside on multiple put backs just outworking everyone else to get any rebound near him and finish it. He was also very active inside defensively deterring drivers, blocking shots, and grabbing loose balls.

Sam Staebler – G/F – Davis Brothers Elite

Stabeler was a highly productive player throughout the tournament helping his team take the title. He has a great combination of size, athleticism, and skills to do so much on the court. This started in the first game where he scored 19 points including a pair of dunks as well as scoring 11 in the title game. The 6’3” wing contributed greatly not just with his scoring but also his defensive play being able to match up well with both wings and post players very well. Not only does he have good size but also a strong build and plays with plenty of toughness and energy.

Cade Verber – G – ALL IN Jr. P32

Verber started a second-round bracket play game in a big way. He started the game shooting 2-2 from three to score the game’s first 6 points. He also hit another three early in the second half with his smooth jumper and quick release. Verber also showed his ability to run the point and driving well to distribute it with good vision playing on the attack.
