Casen Bradley – 2029 – G – North Alabama Lakers Gold
Bradley is a guard with a good solid build along with a highly skilled offensive game. He put up plenty of points throughout the tournament helping his team to a 3-1 record. This included being able to create his own shot as well as using his physicality to go strong to the basket. Bradley shot it well from the three both off the dribble creating for himself as well as off the catch.
Nyzire Carter – 2029 – PG – Jay Academy
Carter is an up-tempo point guard that is at his best playing on the attack and creating for himself and teammates. Whether in transition or in the half court, he plays quick with the ball and was often getting into the paint. He helped Jay Academy to a 23-point win on Saturday, as part of a 3-1 record, finishing it effectively around the paint as well as passing it well on the move.
Joseph Creal – 2029 – G/F – 3D Empire
Creal impressed throughout the weekend helping 3D Empire to a 4-0 record including a 23-point game. He also has great size on the wings at 6’6” in addition to his athleticism and versatile skill set. Creal showed a good ability to make plays off the dribble getting to his spots in the mid-range and paint. He can use his size and physicality to go strong to the basket as well to post up. Creal already holds an early offer from UT Arlington.
Dale Henry III – 2029 – PF – Ohio Saints-Kaylor
Henry is a physical power forward with good size and length. At 6’6”, with his length and aggressiveness, he scored the ball throughout the tournament for a 3-1 record. He controlled the offensive glass scoring it strong on plenty of put backs while also scoring on dump offs and in transition. Henry is also a tough interior defender contesting plenty of shots and showing the ability to shut down the paint.
Dylan Kaeding – 2029 – G – Illinois Basketball
In a tight win Saturday, Kaeding was key down the stretch making plenty of plays as well to helping them to an undefeated 4-0 weekend. His late baskets including a pair of threes and a mid-range jumper with a smooth jump shot. As well to his jumper, Kaeding also had a key and one driving play to push the lead up to 4 with under 2 minutes to play in the win. In addition to his clutch baskets late, the guard also showed a good passing ability in the game too.
Mason Payne – 2029 – PG – Midwest Pumas
Payne was one of the more skilled point guards and distributors at the 15U level. He is a pass first point guard who is a quick decision maker with the basketball. He consistently showed a good ability to read the floor and make plays getting the ball out to his teammates. While he racked up the assist, Payne also showed his ability to shoot the three too.
Layton Phillips – 2029 – G – Foundation South
Phillips is a skilled guard that made a ton of plays in the second half of a game Saturday. This was highlighted by both his playmaking ability with the ball both scoring and distributing. The guard moves very well with the ball with his tight handle and moves. Whether it was in transition, kick outs, or hitting cutters, Phillips showed a good ability. He was also aggressive down the stretch getting all the way to the basket and finishing or getting himself to the line.
Gage Russell – 2029 – PG – Louisville Magic
The point guard is a true playmaker on both ends of the floor. Russell moves extremely well with the ball consistently beating defenders off the dribble getting into the paint. He finished it very effectively around the paint as well as pulling up in the mid-range in addition to facilitating it on the attack. Defensively, Russell is an active and quick on ball pressure defender who did a good job coming up with steals and turning them into transition baskets.
