After his breakout play over the past year, Noah Maniscalco has announced his college commitment. This breakout started last grassroots season playing with the Wisconsin Legends and continued into his senior year at De Pere High School for the 6’0” senior guard.
Last season on the NY2LA Association, Maniscalco was one of the top scorers while averaging 16.8 points per game. Then in his senior season he averaged 15.4 points, 5.6 rebounds, 2.7 assists, and 1.4 steals per game while shooting 41.4% from three. He earned first team all-conference honors will helping De Pere all the way to the state tournament.
The commitment of the senior guard was to UW-Eau Claire. The commitment comes after Maniscalco just visited their campus last Monday. He called his visit there great. “The coaching staff was awesome and seeing some of the guys was nice as well,” he added in about the visit.
“The Campus was compact, yet big enough where things didn’t feel cramped. I also loved the facilities, everything about them was amazing,” Maniscalco said were the main reasons he picked UW-Eau Claire. Some of the other main schools recruiting him included Carroll, Lake Forest, and Lawrence.
For his future playing for UW-Eau Claire and how his game fits, Maniscalco stated “They really like to use ball screens which will be nice to get my teammates involved along with myself getting downhill. Knocking down shots outside will also be a good addition.” In this past season, UW-Eau Claire went 14-11.
