Starting off the 15U coverage from the NY2LA Swish N’ Dish with first team all-tournament. There was plenty of competition for this list but here are the five who stood out the most helping their teams win games.

Max McMullen – 2029 – PG – Team Herro

McMullen shined throughout the entire tournament leading Team Herro to the 15U platinum championship. While just a freshman, he was one of the top playmakers of the entire tournament with his ability to put up plenty of points as well as be a true point guard. He scored 19 points in the title game including 13 in the first half alone to build a 10-point halftime lead. Throughout the title game as well as the rest of the tournament he was consistently getting into the paint and creating with his great moves, tight handles, and quickness. Even at 6’0”, he finished it very well at the basket doing so through contact while he also impressed with a very good passing ability on the move.

Keiwon Gulley – 2029 – PG – Mac Irvin Fire

Gulley was a big reason the Fire got to the championship game and turned it up a level in this title matchup. In the championship game, he led all scorers with 22 points. He is a strong and explosive point guard with an advanced game who knows how to play. He excels playing on the attack with his ability to consistently beat defenders off the dribble with his burst and moves to score it around the paint and mid-range. More than just a scorer, Gulley also passed it well when getting into the defense as well to being a tough perimeter defender.

Bear Collins – 2029 – PG – Power 5

Following a standout freshman season with Wauwaotsa West, Collins continued that here. He started the tournament on Friday with a game high 16 points and continued playing well from there to get Power 5 into the quarterfinals. While a very good shooter, Collins stood out more with his play on the attack as well as his playmaking on the defensive side. With his quickness, Collins was often getting into the defense and operating well through traffic and finishing at a high rate at the basket. He also used his quickness as well to his defensive intensity to consistently pressure the ball and have a few steals all in his first game.

Jackson Rykal – 2029 – PG – Wisconsin Blizzard

It was another tournament of Rykal greatly impressing with the Wisconsin Blizzard as he has done over the past couple years. This time it was him helping them win the gold championship. Rykal is a well-rounded guard with an advanced game for a freshman. He showed his scoring ability with a 19 point game versus the platinum champions of the tournament but also stood out with his point guard play. Rykal is a smart point guard who plays strong with the ball in his hands. As well to being able to get to the basket and finish it very strong inside in traffic, Rykal also shot it well from three. He also sees the floor well distributing it out.

Kayden Liner – 2029 – G – Team Ramey

Liner was one of the most skilled scorers at the 15U level and a key piece of getting Team Ramey all the way to the semifinals. To open the tournament, he scored a game high 24 points in a win. The guard can really shoot the ball from the outside hitting three threes but also showed a versatile scoring ability. Liner is also an active guard rebounding well for his size, getting out scoring in transition, and making plays on the defensive side.
