When needed Basich provided the scoring which included hitting four threes in a single half doing so off the catch and dribble. In another game, he also scored 14 points in a tight second half of a gold semifinals win. Though he also proved his ability to play the role of a floor general being able to create very well for his teammates with a great passing ability.
Messiah Horton – 2027 – SG – Fireworks EYCL
Horton is a skilled scorer who can do so effectively in a number of ways. This included scoring 22 points in a game on Saturday. While he did hit a three in the game, Horton excelled playing on the attack and scoring it from around the paint and mid-range. The junior plays strong attacking the basket through contact while also shooting it at a high percentage pulling up in the mid-range. Horton also finished well with his floater right over defenders inside. He has plenty of tools to his scoring package and consistently finds ways to be beat defenders.
Kyron Jackson – 2027 – G – Team Ramey Select
Jackson was one of the top scorers of the entire tournament. The junior was able to average over 20 points per game leading his team to some impressive wins and into to the platinum quarterfinals. Jackson can really shoot the ball from the outside hitting four threes in that one game, all of them coming off the dribble. He is also a good playmaker on the attack beating defenders off the dribble and finishing both through contact and with his floater.
Terrin Jackson – 2028 – PG – Wisconsin Academy
Following a stellar sophomore high school season with Verona, Jackson got off the spring to a big start. In his opening game of the tournament, he had one of the best performances of the day going for 21 points in a win for Wisconsin Academy. The point guard excelled with his play with the ball getting into the defense as well as his outside jumper. He is incredibly elusive getting deep into the paint with his quickness and moves while also getting himself to the line often. Jackson also hit a pair of threes in the game.
Landon Lethunya – 2027 – F – Full Package
Lethunya fits the sleeper title with all of his physical tools along with his play he showed throughout Swish N’ Dish. He has great size at 6’9” along with his length in addition to still be moving very well on the court. His game also showed great growth being able to shoot the three, finishing strong at the rim, and being able to defend on the perimeter. In his opening game of the tournament, he led Full Package to a one-point win with 14 points while hitting a three and a few dunks coming off cuts. Defiantly a 2027 forward that college coaches will want to see soon.
