The first team for the first team of the 16U of the NY2LA Swish N’ Dish included Alex Robbins, Amarion Smith-Holley, Kyler Payne, Ka’Shawn Gill, and Derrick Murray. Here are the next five up.

Logan Brown – 2028 – G/F – Y&R

It was a huge stock boosting tournament for Brown to earn his way on this second team list. He started the tournament in a big way with a 30-point game, which included 13 straight points at one point. Not only does he have the positional size at 6’6” along with length and athleticism but showed his skills and versatility too. This includes being a consistent outside shooter, being a playmaker defensively, and making plays off the dribble attacking the basket. With all his tools, Brown is a player who needs to be on college coaches’ radars.

Maverick Davis – 2028 – G – Team Ramey

Davis was a key piece of getting Team Ramey getting all the way to the platinum championship game. Not only was the 6’3” guard one of the better shooters and scorers of the tournament but also made plenty of plays defensively. With his size, athleticism, and energy, not only is a tough on ball defender but was also highly active in the passing lanes with multiples steals all in one game. He had multiple standout games including scoring 15 points in one-point quarterfinals win over Power 5.

Jacob Duffin – 2028 – G – MidPro Academy

Duffin was one of a few standouts from this 16U MidPro team that helped them get all the way to the semifinals. This included being one of the top two-way guards of the tournament as well as coming up clutch in some key moments. In a platinum bracket game, not only did Duffin score 16 points but it also included a pair of late three and free throws in final minute to go ahead and get the two-point win. Then in the next game, a quarterfinal win, Duffin scored 10 points in the second half. Throughout the tournament, Duffin showed all his tools including the ability to run the point, defend both guards and wings effectively, score with his jumper and aggressive downhill attacking, all in addition to being 6’4” and athletic.

Jordan Evans – 2028 – PG – Team Herro

Evans was one of the most effective and efficient scorers of the tournament and a key piece of Team Herro winning the 16U platinum title. This included scoring 20 points in the semifinals round win in addition to a couple other high scoring games. The strong 6’3 guard excelled with his aggressive, downhill driving consistently being able to power his way to the basket and be able to take over games. While also making plenty of plays with his toughness and energy to be a highly impactful player

Corvalis Stewart Jr. – 2028 – G – Wisconsin Academy

Stewart was one of the top scorers of the entire tournament with games of 28 and 22 points. Not only did he prove his scoring ability but also his defensive play as well being able to get all over opposing ball handlers with his athleticism. The 6’2” guard is a skilled 1-on-1 scorer breaking down defenders and effectively finishing all around the paint. Stewart is one of the more well-rounded guards in Wisconsin’s 2028 class with these tools as well as ability to create for others.
