The spring is here and here are five more who college coaches will want to be looking at.
Jarrel Brown – 2027 – SF – Zero Fears
Brown has a ton of tools for the next level. Not only does he have good physical tools as a 6’6” wing with a good frame and has a big motor but also a well-rounded game. This includes outside shooting ability where Brown is a consistent outside shooter while also being able to score the ball in a number of ways. Brown is a high upside wing forward who already holds a couple of division one offers.
Charlie Hoel – 2027 – F/C – Wisconsin Playmakers
Hoel is a fast-rising big man over the past few months. This includes just recently picking up his first division one offer, coming from Northern Illinois. In his junior season, he averaged 20.7 points, 11.2 rebounds, 3.1 assists, 1.6 steals, and 1.2 blocks. He has a great blend of size and skill as he stands at 6’10” to go along with his shooting ability.
Griffin Mehrhoff – 2027 – G/F – Yanders Law
It was a breakout junior season for Mehrhoff who earned all-district and all-conference honors. The strong 6’4” wing is such a well-rounded player with a big motor who can do it all on the floor. Not only is he a versatile scorer who can beat defenders in plenty of ways but also make an impact with his toughness on the glass, distribute the ball, and energetic defensive play. The junior recently picked up an offer from Western Illinois.
Massimo Ruz – 2027 – PG – 24UP
There are few 2027 players in the region who can match the playmaking ability of Ruz. He excels with both his distributing ability as well as elusiveness with the ball. He is an incredibly skilled passer with a great ability to create for others on the move. The 6’3” point guard moves extremely well with the ball with his shiftiness getting into the defense.
Theo Toepel – 2027 – SF – Pro Lane
Toepel is a highly versatile and impactful 6’4” wing forward. He has a first team all-conference junior season in which he averaged 12.8 points, 6.6 rebounds, and 1.6 assists per game for Arrowhead. Not only is he an energetic player who plays tough on the glass and can defend multiple positions but is also a versatile scorer. Toepel shot it 44.4% from three and is also effective scoring it aggressively attacking the basket and playing out of the mid-post.
