The recruitment of Bryson Mossman quickly came along over the past few weeks. This all finished recently with a 6’4” senior of Routt Catholic High School (IL) and MidPro Academy announcing his college commitment to Quincy University.
The commitment comes just a few weeks after Mossman was offered by the in-state division two program. “I really like the coaching staff and their vision for how they want their program to progress in the coming seasons along with the fact that they have a great campus and education. I also like that I am close enough to home to make the trip back if I need to,” he said on the main things that he likes about Quincy.
Before making his commitment to Quincy, Mossman took a pair of visits there. When asked about his pair of visits, he said “I took a visit during the season and got to watch them play and I really enjoyed it. The gym was great, and I liked their play style and coaching. I took another visit recently on March 18th and got to see the whole campus. I really like everything about the school, and I think it’s a really good fit for me.”
“I can see myself making an impact with my shooting ability and my decision making early on in my career,” Mossman said about his future playing for Quincy. “I do need to improve physically and become a stronger more explosive athlete so that I can make a big impact on the court.”
Quincy is landing one of the top shooters in Illinois’ 2026 class. In his senior season, he was named first team all-state by the IBCA. During his high school career, he scored over 2,000 points.
