With the spring season upon us, we move on to part five of players in the 2027 class to see.

DJ Nash – 2027 – SG – Path 2 Victory Academy

Throughout his high school career, Nash has continued to play at a high level, but this was taken to another level in his junior season. The two guard was one of the top scorers in all of Wisconsin this past season. Nash is an explosive playmaker with the ball in his hands to highlight his scoring ability. This is to go along with his shiftiness to be a highly elusive player on the attack.

Markese Peoples – 2027 – G – Young & Reckless

In a season in which he earned second team all-state by the IBCA with St. Laurence, Peoples proved that he’s one of the top guard recruits in Illinois’ 2027 class. Peoples is a strong and athletic guard with a well-rounded skill set to be a true playmaker on both ends of the floor while excelling playing on the attack. He should be a very popular target in the coming months.

Charles Schlicht – 2027 – SG – PAC Elite

Whether it has been with Grant High School or PAC Elite, Schlicht has consistently played a high level over the past couple of years. This included averaging 24.4 points, 6.9 rebounds, and 2.5 assists per game last summer on the NY2LA Association and then into his junior season all-conference and all-area honors. While under the radar for a player of his caliber, the 6’2” guard is one of the areas most skilled scorers being able to create for himself so effectively both with his outside shot making and getting to the rim.

Collin Tobin – 2027 – G – Pure Prep

Tobin is an under the radar junior who had a breakout junior season. This included being named special mention all-state by the IBCA. Not only does he have good positional size as a 6’3” guard along with his athleticism but is also a highly skilled scorer. In his junior season Tobin was one of the leading scorers in Illinois averaging 20.5 points. He beats defenders well with both his quickness and physicality getting all the way to the rim while also being a consistent outside shooter.

Quinn Wesenberg – 2027 – SG – Wisconsin Legends

It was a huge stock boosting junior season for the 6’4” wing guard. This included earning all-state honors from the WBCA while leading Bonduel to the state tournament. In the season, he averaged 19.3 points, 4.5 rebounds, 3.9 assists, and 1.3 steals as well to scoring his 1,000th point. Wesenberg has great tools for the next level with his positional size along with his three-level scoring ability which includes his great outside shooting ability.
