In this sectional final matchup versus Brookfield East, De Pere showed their offensive fire power. Jack Bookter, Noah Maniscalco, Will Krueger, and Isaac Herlache all got into double digits scoring.
While Brookfield East was able to keep it close for the first few minutes, the offense of De Pere was too much especially from the hot start of Will Krueger as they quickly grew their lead into double figures. De Pere won it by a score of 97-74 to punch their ticket to Madison.
Jack Bookter – 2026 – PG – De Pere
Even amongst all the high scorers of his team, Bookter led them all in this game with 24 points. All game, Bookter was finding the gaps in the defense getting all the way to the basket where he was finishing well through contact and plenty of traffic. The senior also showed his shooting ability late spotting up for a pair of threes in the second half. As well Bookter is a tough on ball defender in addition to a good ability to run the point playing strong with the ball.
Will Krueger – 2027 – G/F – De Pere
Krueger quickly got into double digits scoring in this game to build De Pere’s early lead. He hit a three on the very first play of the game, one of four he hit with a quick and high release by the 6’5” wing. By the half he had scored 15 points and finished the game with 22. The bouncy wing can also handle the ball scoring on a few drives to the basket in addition to assisting on a couple of drive and kick out threes.
Noah Maniscalco – 2026 – G – De Pere
Not only did he score 17 points, but the senior guard did plenty more too. Maniscalco who is a very good outside shooter and did hit a three in this game, was at his best in this one playing on the attack. He scored on several nice takes getting all the way to the basket and also passed it very well on the move to finish with 5 assists. As well to this, Maniscalco took a charge, extended out diving on the floor to fight for a loose ball, and rebounded well as a guard.
Max McMullen – 2029 – PG – Brookfield
McMullen had one more standout performance in his special freshman season. He is an incredibly elusive point guard with his quickness and moves as well to having a high skill level. In the game, he scored 12 points while also distributing it well. He was consistently getting into the paint where he showed a good ability to finish amongst size as well to passing it on the moves showing good vision.
TJ Platz – 2026 – SG – Brookfield East
Platz was hot right from the start of this game. He had a strong driving basket through contact on his team’s first possession and quickly got into double figures scoring as well. This included scoring 19 points in the first half along while finishing the game with 23 points. Platz is a 6’3” two guard with some strength playing aggressive attacking the basket. He also got it done with his shooting as he hit a trio of threes in the game including one from out near the volleyball line.
