There were multiple players stepping up their game in this highly contested sectional semifinal matchup between Lomira and Pardeeville. This game was tight early on but Lomira used a large run in the middle of the first half to expand their lead all the way up to 16. While Pardeeville made a few small runs in the game, Lomira was able to use their early lead to win it 67-54 and advance a step closer to Madison.

Jackson Bloohm – 2027 – G – Lomira

Bloohm came off the bench and made an immediate impact in helping Lomira build their lead all the way up to 16 points. In the game he had a very efficient 8 points while shooting a perfect 4-4 from the field in addition to adding in 5 rebounds, 4 assists, 1 steal, and 1 block. As well to this was some key defensive playing including a steal of his that led to a dunk in transition as well to poking a ball loose that led to a transition basket for a teammate. The guard moves well with the ball playing on the attack as well to pushing the ball in transition distributing it.

Jake Broeske – 2026 – F/C – Lomira

Broeske turned in a big double-double performance helping Lomira to the win. This included 20 points along with 13 rebounds as well to a pair of blocks. He started the game playing with great energy, whether it was battling for position inside, hard hedges defensively, and attacking the glass. All game, he used his great 6’9” size to score it very effectively around the basket. This included on several baskets posting up fighting for position inside or sealing defenders high.  

Blake Steger – 2027 – SF – Lomira

You cannot have much better of a game than Steger did. He led all in the game with 29 points on a highly efficient 11-12 shooting. Steger just could not be stopped getting all the way to the basket and finishing. He plays with good physicality using his body to beat defenders as well as good moves in tight traffic to beat defenders. While not known as a great outside shooter, he went 2-2 from three. His stat line also included 5 rebounds, 4 assists, 2 steals, and 1 block. This was in addition to tremendous defense all game limiting Pardeeville’s top scorer to single digits. He’s an energetic defender who plays with good toughness and can’t be beat off the dribble.

Julian Wells – 2027 – G – Pardeeville

Following up on a first team all-conference season, Wells had stellar game here. He led his team in scoring with 26 points. He hit a pair of early threes in the game and kept on scoring it effectively from there. Wells is a skilled guard who can really shoot the ball spotting up hitting a total of five threes in the game but also showed his ability to handle the ball and get into the paint for an additional couple of baskets.
