Amir Danforth – 2026 – PG – Rockford Auburn
Danforth scored 30 points earlier this postseason versus Warren and had another high scoring performance in this game. The North Dakota State commit went for 20 points even versus all the defensive attention, pressure, and size of Benet. With his tight handle and quickness, Danforth is such an elusive threat with the ball. He hit a pair of threes in the game including a step back one, but really excelled while playing on the attack. Danforth was very effective scoring on his drives finishing all around the paint as well as getting to the line and going 6-6 from there. He also showed a great ability to consistently finish over the great size of Benet inside even over a seven-footer utilizing his floater.
Mikwan Marshall – 2026 – G – Rockford Auburn
Marshall scored an efficient 10 points for his team while also being very effective with his defensive playmaking ability. In the game, Marshall was able to force several turnovers. With his quickness, defensive energy, and good hands, the senior is a very tough on ball defender pressuring the ball. Early on in the game he stole the ball right away and turned that into a basket the other way. Offensively, Marshall is a shifty guard scoring it well on the attack getting all the way to the basket on a couple of drives plus hitting a pull up mid-range jumper.
Ed Stasys – 2027 – PF – Benet
After recording 19 points and 13 rebounds in a sectional semifinal win, Stays put together another impressive double-double. This included a game high 23 points in addition to 10 rebounds. He got off to a big start with 8 first quarter points. Throughout the game, Stasys scored it extremely well at the basket including a few dunks. He used his size and strength very effectively. He moves well at 6’8” and has a quick second jump. The junior scored it on a few put backs, posting up, and rolls. He also showed his ability to put the ball on the floor with a driving dunk. Stasys holds an offer from Western Michigan and should be a popular target in the upcoming grassroots season.
Jayden Wright – 2026 – PG – Benet
Wright is a veteran and savvy floor general that is a winning playmaker. The senior was able to get it done with his scoring, distributing, and defense. He scored an efficient 16 points in the win but also added in 8 assists. As well, Wright also forced a trio of offensive fouls with his hard-nosed, active defensive play. He is such a methodical point guard running the offense well and changing his speeds and plays with great vision, handle, and smart decision making. Even under heavy ball pressure, he plays poised and threw out on target passes reading the floor so well. Wright was very effective playing in the pick and roll either getting to the basket or finding open teammates. Eastern Illinois looks to have gotten a steal in Wright.
