With its hot outside shooting, West De Pere was able to build a significant first half lead of 36-13 in this regional’s final matchup. Even with this large early lead, Plymouth would not go away. Senior Kayden Schultz led a large run of his own in the second half cutting the deficit all the way down to four on multiple occasions. Though Plymouth could never get it any closer and West De Pere was able to make a run of their own over the last 6 minutes of the game to win it 70-56.

Cooper Borowicz – 2027 – G – West De Pere

Throughout his high school career, Borowicz has proven to be an impactful and do-it-all guard and that was the case in this game. He scored 13 points but also contributed with his defensive play and in a variety of other ways too. The guard has positional size at 6’4” in addition to a well-rounded game. Borowicz got into double figures scoring getting it done in a variety of ways; hitting a three and scoring on drives and cuts to the basket. He also drew the tough assignment of defending Kayden Schultz and did his best to limit him sticking well with the ball. Plus, Borowicz added in 5 rebounds, 2 assists, and a block.  

Patrick Greisen – 2026 – PG – West De Pere

A standout football player, Greisen is also an impactful basketball player who made a ton of plays in this win. Not only did he score 10 points in the win, but he also added in 5 rebounds, 4 assists, and 1 steal. This is an addition to taking a pair of charges in the paint. Greisen shoots it well from the outside hitting a pair of threes but was even more key with his play on the attack. He has good handle getting into the paint plus showed very good vision seeing the entire court and distributing it well both in transition and in the half court. Greisen also showed his football side playing with plenty of toughness and energy both with his rebounding and defensive play.

Kayden Schultz – 2026 – PG – Plymouth

To finish off his high school career, Schultz had another high scoring performance. The highly skilled guard went for 30 points. The Michigan Tech commit has such a great ability to create for himself. This included both hitting multiple threes off the dribble as well as often getting into the paint and finishing. He moves so well with the ball through heavy traffic and has the size to finish in traffic. Schultz especially shined in the second half spearheading a large run getting Plymouth back into the game. Schultz was unstoppable for several minutes including hitting back-to-back threes to cut what was once a twenty point whole all the way down to four.

Jack Wilichowski – 2027 – PF – West De Pere

The 6’7” forward was instrumental in the win for West De Pere as he led them in both scoring and rebounding. Wilichowski finished the game with a near double-double with 18 points and 9 rebounds. This included some key second half baskets once the game got tight. The junior used his size and physicality effectively score a couple of baskets posting up as well as rolling to the basket. He also showed his offensive versatility moving well with the ball driving to the basket plus had a dunk in transition. Wilichowski is an aggressive rebounder attacking the glass with good hands grabbing everything near him too.
