Throughout his high school career Cannon Flynn has continued to produce on the court. This has been true over the past pair of grassroots seasons and even more in his junior season.

Last summer while playing with Oakland Elite, Flynn averaged 20.3 points. This included scoring 47 points in a single game while shooting 8-9 from three. In Flynn’s junior season at Rochester Adams High School (MI), the 6’6” small forward averaged 21.8 points and 7.5 rebounds per game while leading them to a 18-8 record. This included winning a district championship.

Over the past year, Flynn has continued to greatly develop his game. This has included developing a well-rounded skill set, his athleticism, as well to his shooting ability.

While Flynn is underrecruited for a player of his level, he has started to see his recruitment grow over the past several months. This includes interest from programs both at the division two and three levels. Amongst the ones showing the most interest include Ferris State, Hope College, Olivet College, and Regis University.

Back in January Flynn took a visit to Hope College for their game versus Calvin. The junior called the visit a “really cool” experience. “Great facilities and cool atmosphere,” is what Flynn had to say about his visit to Hope.

In the upcoming grassroots season, Flynn will be playing for Phenom United.
