It has been a monumental several days in the recruitment of Adams Flowers. This has come with several offers for the 6’4” guard of Downers Grove South High School and Mercury Elite who ranks amongst the top available seniors in Illinois.
After being one of the top guards last year with Mercury Elite on the NY2LA Association, Flowers had continued that play in his high school season. With Downers Grove South, Flowers averaged 20 points, 8 rebounds, and 5 assists to lead them to a 23-7 record.
The growth of his recruitment was highlighted this week by his offer from Ferris State. This was his first offer from a division two program. “I love how much the coaches care about player development and winning and I love that it’s not too far,” is what Flowers likes about Ferris State.
Ferris State was not the only school to offer the senior recently. Also extending an offer to Flowers was Bay College, Glen Oaks College, Morton College, Pellissippi State, Prairie State College, and Waubonsee College.
Some of the other scholarship level programs showing interest in Flowers currently include Emporia State and UIC. Next up in his recruitment, Flowers will be taking a visit to Ferris State on the 17th of this month. He is also planning on taking a visit to some of these other schools soon.
Flowers would like to make his commitment soon prior to April.
