It has been a big few weeks both on and off the court for Eli Krueger. This includes for both his play for McFarland High School (WI) as well as his recruitment for the 6’9” junior power forward.

During his junior season at McFarland, Krueger has seen plenty of team and individual success.

For his junior season, Krueger was a major reason why McFarland was able to capture the Badger Small Conference championship. During the season, he has averaged 18.6 points per game.

In his recruitment, Krueger has continued to see growing interest from division one programs. Most recently in his recruitment, the junior took a visit to Miami (OH). “Great,” is how Krueger first described the visit. “I had an awesome experience. Went to their shootaround before the game and got to be under the hoop for pregame. I also got to go into the locker room with the team for pregame. I really got to experience what it would be like on a game day for Miami, so it was a blast.”

As well to the recent offer, Krueger holds several scholarship offers from both division one and two programs. This includes ones from Lake Superior State, Michigan Tech, Northern Michigan, Southern Utah, Toledo, UW-Green Bay, and Winona State.

Krueger and McFarland will continue their season on Friday in the state tournament versus the winner of Edgewood versus Waukesha North. “Go deep in the tournament and go to state,” are his goals for the rest of the season.

Krueger plays with the Wisconsin Swing program.
