It has been a monumental several months for Connor Brown. It started with a breakout grassroots season for the 6’6” forward while playing with D Rice Elite. It has continued into his junior season with North Farmington High School (MI) in which he has been averaging 21.5 points, 12.7 rebounds, and 2 blocks per game.

With the great growth of his game, Brown has started to his recruitment greatly grow too over the past few months. This has included his first scholarship offer. This came from South Dakota Mines, a division two program, back in December. “It felt good to get my first offer, it gave me a lot of confidence and made me know that I can and will play at the next level,” Brown said about receiving his first offer.

As well to receiving his first offer, Brown is also drawing interest from a number of other programs including several division one programs. The ones showing the most interest in him include Brown, Miami (OH), and Western Michigan.

Most recently in his recruitment, Brown just took a visit to Miami (OH). “My visit to Miami Ohio was great,” Brown said. “I got to talk to the coaches and got to go to a great game and see their locker room and facility. They are still undefeated and looking like a great team. We are staying in touch.” Next up for the junior, he will be taking a visit to Grand Valley State on the 23rd of this month.
