The 2028 class across the regions continues to look better with great depth across the class. Here are the next five sophomores up in this series who are all excelling this season and some who already have some early college interest.

Jordan Evans – 2028 – G – Living Word Lutheran

Whether it be playing grassroots or high school, Evans has continued to cement his spot as one of the top players in Wisconsin’s 2028 class. Right now, in his sophomore season the guard is averaging 20.6 points, 3.7 rebounds, 1.4 assists, and 1.5 steals. He is a well-built and athletic guard that excels playing on the attack. Evans already holds and offer from Bethune-Cookman.

Charles Hardiman – 2028 – G – Merrillville

There are few players in the regions 2028 class who have been as consistently good as Hardiman in their high school careers. He scored 15 points per game as a freshman and has only improved this season which started off with a 35-point game.  As well to having good positional size in the backcourt at 6’4”, he is a skilled scorer with a great ability to break down defenders but also shown some shot making ability. In December he received his first division one offer coming from Southern Utah.

Joey Jakstys – 2028 – SF – Yorkville

Jakstys has proven to be a highly impactful player already and looks to only be improving with his unique blend of abilities. He is one of the most versatile sophomores in the region as he stands at 6’8” with great athleticism. This is in addition to being able to defend multiple positions and score both with his outside shooting and slashing.

Mace Miskel – 2028 – PG – Whitefish Bay

There are few sophomores in the area who can match his combination of quickness, elusive moves, awareness, and playmaking ability. Miskel has such a great ability to create for others. He is averaging 5.5 assists per game and recently had 8 of them in a single game. While just a sophomore, Miskel can really break down defenders, get into the paint, and create for others. Even as a great facilitator, he is also getting it done himself while averaging 12.7 points.

Ben Wittnebel – 2028 – SF – Beaver Dam

Not only is Wittnebel having a highly productive sophomore season but also has tremendous upside. Currently on the season, he is averaging 13.1 points, 6.1 rebounds, 2.3 assists, and 1 steal per game. He has a nice blend of physical tools as a 6’6” wing, athleticism, and a well-rounded skill set. This includes a good offensive game that continues to build with a great mid-range game.
