All the talent of this highly anticipated matchup did not disappoint. Whitefish Bay was able to build a nine-point first half lead behind the tremendous play of Colin Julien, but Slinger would not go away and made a couple runs of their own. While Whitefish Bay had a couple of opportunities in the final minute Slinger made enough plays to come away with the 58-56 win.

Bryson Fogle – 2026 – SG – Slinger

Fogle was key in the win with his shooting ability. The senior hit one three in the first half but came up big the comeback second half hitting three threes with his smooth compact jumper. Fogle also has plenty of range as his last three came from a few steps past the arc. He did his shooting very efficiently going 4-4 from deep in the game. He finished the game with 14 points also adding in a pair of free throws drawing a foul off a drive.

Colin Julien – 2027 – G – Whitefish Bay

Julien absolutely shined in the first half of this game where he scored 16 of his team high 18 points. This included him scoring his teams first 8 points while hitting early back-to-back threes. In the first half alone of this matchup, the junior knocked down four threes as he has developed into more of knockdown shooter. Much more than a shooter, Julien is a skilled guard who can do plenty on the court. He recorded a double-double in the game as he also grabbed 11 rebounds as not only does he have some positional size and length but also attacked the glassed rebounding out of area. The guard also has a good ability to handle the ball and get into the paint and make plays.

Jack Kohnen – 2027 – G/F – Slinger

It was another standout game this season for the highly recruited Kohnen. He led all in the game with 24 points as well to 14 rebounds. While he has a solid first half, he was tremendous in the comeback second half scoring 16 points. He has such a good blend of positional size at 6’6” in addition to a well-rounded game and feel to do everything on the floor. Kohnen shot it very well from the outside in this game going 4-7 from three including multiple deep ones a few steps beyond the arc. The junior also used his size to finish it around the paint as well as physically attack the basket.  He also showed his ability to be a primary ball handler as well to distribute the ball with 5 assists.

Mace Miskel – 2028 – PG – Whitefish Bay

It was a highly impressive performance by Miskel who showcased his great playmaking ability. Not only did he score 10 points he also had 8 assists in the game. The sophomore plays quick with the ball and is incredibly shifty to break down defenders and was consistently getting into the paint. He especially excelled in the final few minutes of this tight game with a clutch pair of baskets while drawing fouls plus a couple of nice assists. On the move, Miskel has great vision looking to distribute it and passes it so well.
