It was a matchup of two of the top teams in the Milwaukee area with Wauwatosa West facing off against Whitefish Bay. The game featured two of the top junior guards in Wisconsin with Jalen Brown and Colin Julien. Wauwatosa West held a led throughout the game, but Whitefish Bay had their chances and had it as close as two in the second half. In the end, Wauwatosa West got a star performance from Brown to win it 73-64.

Jalen Brown – 2027 – G – Wauwatosa West

Brown is such a complete player and that showed throughout this game. Not only did he lead all with 32 points, he also added in 7 rebounds, 4 assists, and 2 steals. The junior has a great blend of physical tools at 6’4” with a good build in addition to his well-rounded skill set. He scored it in numerous ways including a buzzer-beating pull up three from just beyond half court. As well to hitting a few jumpers in the game, Brown is so tough to defend on the attack. He plays strong with the ball and can play right through defenders and finish amongst plenty of traffic and contact. He also came up clutch down the stretch going 8-8 from the free throw line in the final few minutes of the win.

Max Gogin – 2027 – G – Wauwatosa West

Gogin excelled in his role as a shooter in this game to score 21 points. The junior has such a pure jumper off the catch and went 5-9 from the outside in the victory. His jumper was also effective from the free throw line where he went a perfect 6-6. He also made a key play taking a charge in transition that took away a basket as well to adding in a pair of steals.

Colin Julien – 2027 – G – Whitefish Bay

Following a breakout grassroots season, Julien has continued to grow in his junior season. The guard has some size at 6’3” as well to his length and a good skill set. He had another standout performance leading Whitefish Bay with 21 points but also did so much more. The junior shot it well from the outside hitting four threes in the game but also played well getting all the way to the basket and used his length effectively to finish it there. Julien also made a ton of plays defensively which included 6 steals and 2 blocks as well to multiple deflections. Julien showed his ability to do it all on the floor as he also had 3 assists and 6 rebounds.

Matthew Kloskey – 2026 – G/F – Wauwatosa West

Kloskey was key early on in this game helping his team to an early lead. He scored his team’s first 5 points of the game and had scored 9 by the half. Up against the zone, he maneuvered well around the interior to find space and score it very effectively. The wing has some size at 6’5” and with his physicality finished it very well. The Green Bay commit also showed his defensive versatility being able to defend anyone on the floor well.

Marcus Webb – 2026 – PG – Whitefish Bay

Webb showed his good ability to play on the attack in this game. The point guard has good burst to his game as well to maneuvering through defenders to get to the basket. Not only did he have some tough finishes at the basket but also showed a nice floater to finish over the defense. Webb also rebounded it extremely well in the game going hard to the glass grabbing 9 of them in this game.
