Offers, commitments, and more all in this issue of January 20th Recruitment News.

The biggest recruitment story recently was Illinois getting a head start with their 2027 class with an in-state commitment. This came from Mason Martin, a 6’5” guard of Neuqua Valley High School and Breakaway Basketball. Illinois had just offered him last month and he had also been offered by St. Louis and Belmont.

Another Neuqua Valley and Breakaway Basketball junior making an appearance here is Cole Kelly. This was for his offer from Northwestern.

Another junior in the region getting himself a division one offer was Brandon Hunter. The 6’3” point guard of Indiana Elite and Silver Creek High School was offered by Western Kentucky.

Marrius Harris, a senior of Bosse High School, was offered by Southern Indiana.

Picking up an offer from Manchester University was Faisal Mohamud, a senior guard of University High School and Hoosier State Prospects.

Hope College picked up a commitment from senior Kaden Grau of Westview High School and Five Star Basketball.

In his breakout junior season for Oak Creek High School, guard Tyson Busch of Racine Truth has received an offer from Barry University.

Barry University also offered another Wisconsin junior. This one was to Homestead High School and Chapman Basketball guard Oliver Belot.

Illinois Wesleyan University has landed another 2026 commitment this week. This one came from 6’8” Owen Sanders of MidPro Academy and Ottawa Township High School.

Picking up a pair offers was 6’4” wing Jaymes Clark of Louisville Male and Midwest Basketball Club. These came from Kentucky Christian and University of the Cumberlands for the senior.

Making their commitment was Gavin Keller. The 6’3” senior guard of Hauser High School and Progeny selected Hanover College.

Another Indiana senior making their commitment was Cooper Beck. The wing of Sullivan High School and then Indiana Jammers picked Wabash College.

Zayden Fisher, a senior guard of Lafayette County High School received his first offer which came from Missouri Baptist.
