After a couple of slower weeks in the world of recruitment, it has picked up a little over the past seven days. Here is the latest news from around the region.
Fast rising junior guard Mason Martin was able to receive his first high major offer. This came from Illinois for the 6’5” guard of Neuqua Valley and Breakaway Basketball.
Senior Landon Gilliatt has announced his college commitment. The point guard of Plainfield High School and Grand Park Premier picked University of St. Francis.
Also out of Indiana’s 2026 class, Warsaw’s Mydin Burger also made his commitment. He selected Grace College.
Another commitment out of Indiana came from Keaton Lawson. The senior of Columbus East selected Indiana Wesleyan University.
A commitment out of Kentucky came from Kayden Green. The Apollo High School senior guard will be headed to Brescia next year.
Abraham Nayou, a senior point guard of Maplewood Richmond Heights and Arsenal Hoops, has been offered by Missouri St. Louis.
Marcus Johnson, a senior guard of Sycamore and Mercury Elite, has received a pair of offers over just the past few days. These came from North Park and then Edgewood.
Also from Mercury Elite, senior guard Cade Styrsky has been offered by University of St. Francis.
Ripon College was able to get an in-state commitment. This came from Mason LaValle, a 6’6” senior of Waukesha West and Team Herro.
From Whitnall and Team Herro, Cooper Markee picked up his first scholarship offer which came from Bryant & Stratton College.
Benton High School and Mokan Basketball’s Lincoln Goodwin has received a division two offer. This came from Central Missouri for the senior guard.
Missouri Valley College has picked up a commitment from Cody Tamm, a senior of Eldon High School and the Como TNT program.
