Beaver Dam jumped out to an early lead in this game and never really looked back. They got a star performance from their senior guard EJ Salettel who led all with 29 points. Oregon made a few pushes but never had enough as Beaver Damn won it 75-58.
Parker Blank – 2026 – G – Beaver Dam
Not only did Blank finish in double digits scoring but also made an impact in so many other ways. He was consistently playing with good toughness and energy, highlighted by trying to take a charge in the final three minutes with his team up big. Early on in the game, Blank came up with a quick couple of steals with some tough on ball defense as well as good anticipation in the passing lanes. Blank also rebounds very well for his size. He was effective scoring getting to the basket but also hit a three too in the game.
EJ Salattel – 2026 – G – Beaver Dam
The hot scoring from Salattel continued in this game as he led everyone with 29 points. The 6’3” guard was getting it done in a variety of ways. He showed off his great outside shooting ability hitting a trio of threes including a deep pull up one, though also got it done in a few other ways effectively too. He used his positional size to get the ball in the mid-post and hit shots over defenders as well to creating off the dribble in the mid-range. He scored an early 9 points to help Beaver Dam build a double-digit lead. The available senior currently holds offers from several division three programs.
Will Schmitt – 2026 – F – Oregon
Schmitt is a physical and energetic forward with a strong build. He was effective down in the paint but also showed some playmaking ability on the perimeter. Schmitt had an early pair of baskets playing with his back to the basket down in the low post just overpowering defenders and scoring right through them. The senior also played well on the attack as a straight-line driver getting all the way to the basket and is also a good passing forward.
Ben Wittnebel – 2028 – G/F – Beaver Dam
Wittnebel continues to improve his game has he showcased a great amount of tools as just a sophomore and made a major impact in the win. He stands at 6’5” as well to his great length and athleticism. He got off to a quick start in the win with early back-to-back dunks. The sophomore moves well with the ball and can quickly get to the basket with his long strides and quickly get up and finish over the top. He got into double digits scoring as he excelled on the attack getting to the basket as well as pulling up in the mid-range. Wittnebel also made his impact on the defensive side. He used his size well to really control the defensive glass as deter drivers and contest shots inside. There continues to be plenty to like from the sophomore’s game and has such tremendous upside.
