This early season matchup faced off two of the top programs over the past several years up against one another with De Pere traveling to Pewaukee. De Pere got off to an early double-digit lead at 24-12 behind their hot shooting duo of Will Krueger and Noah Maniscalco but Pewaukee continued to fight back throughout this game. While Pewaukee was able to keep it tight including being down just two with 75 seconds to play, De Pere had every answer in this game to win it 83-76.
Will Krueger – 2027 – G/F – De Pere
It was an extremely fast start by Krueger to get De Pere up double digits early. The junior wing caught fire from the outside early hitting a three on his first shot and hit four threes in just the first five and half minutes of play. He finished the win with 22 points on 8-14 shooting but also added in 4 rebounds, 3 assists, and 3 steals. He has some size and length to hit his shots right over defenders and has plenty of range hitting a pair of deep threes in the game. Krueger also showed his playmaking defensively being very active with several deflections in addition to his three steals. The junior has a pair of division two offers already.
Noah Maniscalco – 2026 – G – De Pere
Following his breakout grassroots season with the Wisconsin Legends, Maniscalco is translating that into his senior season. This was defiantly the case in this prime-time matchup where he led all in the game with 31 points while hitting five threes and going 9-14 from the field. He has such a pure and compact jumper when he is spotting up from the outside but also shoots it well off the dribble. With his team up just two in the final seventy-five seconds, Maniscalco came up clutch going 8-8 from the free throw line to seal the game, while also adding in a transition basket off his own seal in that stretch. He is such a smart guard with an extremely high skill set highlighted by his shot making and plays to his strengths so well.
Nick Tempelis – 2028 – SG – Pewaukee
While just a sophomore, Tempelis played a major role in this game scoring 16 points for Pewaukee. He did the bulk of his scoring from the outside going 4-7 from three. This included some much-needed shots in the first half as well plays going to the bucket for ten first half points to keep the game tight. While mainly a shooter in this contest, the sophomore has shown a good well-rounded offensive skill set with an ability to create for himself. A player to watch in Wisconsin’s 2028 class.
Tyler Tiutczenko – 2026 – F – Pewaukee
As well to being 6’8” with a solid build, the senior has a very high skill level. He led his team with 22 points even while seeing double teams on most of his post touches. The senior scored it well with his jumper hitting a trio of threes off the dribble as well to a step back mid-range jumper. He creates well in tight spaces and gets his shot off quickly off the dribble. He also impressed on the offensive end with his ability to body his way to the basket as well as his passing skills. Whether it was out of the post through double teams or short rolls, he is a skilled passer that is also a quick decision maker reading the floor. For a scholarship program looking for a skilled big man who can shoot it and knows how to play, Tiutczenko would be an ideal fit.
