Behind DePaul commit Andrew Jensen and a few other talented players, this was one was all Kaukauna. While Appleton West made some pushes in the first half, it was no match for Kaukauna with all their talent as they cruised to the 92-52 win.
Drew Bowers – 2029 – G – Kaukauna
In the opening game of his high school career, Bowers was ready to play. The freshman came off the bench and immediately made an impact hitting four threes in just his first several minutes of action on the floor. He proved to a be a highly confident shooter with a quick release and always ready to shoot. Bowers finished the game with 17 points while going 5-9 from three.
Braylon Ise – 2026 – PG – Appleton West
It may have been a tough game for his team but Ise more than impressed. He was able to score 19 points as well to running the point effectively. Ise maneuvers well with the ball in his hands operating through traffic to get to his spots to create for himself and teammates versus some tough defenders. The senior created well in the mid-range hitting a pair of pull up jumpers as well to finishing over post in the paint plus hit a three.
Andrew Jensen – 2026 – F/C – Kaukauna
It was a dominant performance from Jensen all around. Even in limited minutes with limited paint touches, the 6’9” post scored 25 points while not missing a single field goal attempt going 11-11 from the field. He was very effective playing with his back to the basket but also scored it out of pick and rolls, on drives, and running the floor in transition. With his blend of size, quickness, strength, and touch, the DePaul commit could not be stopped in the post. He also passed it well out of the post when getting double and even triple teamed. He also showed his athleticism attacking the glass collecting 11 rebounds, covering plenty of ground around the interior blocking and altering shots, and in the full court pressure grabbing a steal.
Jonah Roehrig – 2026 – G – Kaukauna
Roehrig is an under the radar senior who greatly impressed with everything that he can do. He filled up the stat sheet with 18 points, 6 assists, 2 rebounds, and 3 steals but his impact with even further. He has good physical tools in the backcourt standing at 6’3” with good length while showing the ability to run the point. He hit a pair of threes in the win but was at his best on the attack getting to the basket and finishing with his length or dishing it out. He also impressed with his perimeter defensive play as he sticks well with ballhandlers getting all over them with his size.
Tyler Schwalbach – 2028 – G – Kaukauna
Even as just a sophomore, Schwalbach showed a well-rounded skill set as well to being 6’3”. He got the first points of the game while hitting a three to finish with 11 points. Though he was also able to collect 6 rebounds, 6 assists, 2 steals, and 2 blocks. He plays smart with the ball in his hands, created well for others, and finished it well around the paint. The sophomore also made plenty of plays defensively with active hands and being tough to beat.
