The first team included Marquis Clark, Jaxson Davis, Christopher Kirkpatrick, Rahsaun Porter, and Lincoln Williams. Here are the five honorees for the second team who were all considered for the first team.
Quinton Kitt – 2027 – G/F – East Peoria
After a very good sophomore season in which he earned third team all-state from the IBCA, the game of Kitt has taken huge strides over the past several months. He shined with the Meanstreets on the EYBL averaging 14.6 points and 5.5 rebounds per game and look for that to translate into the high school season to be one of the top players in the state. The 6’6” wing has been able to earn himself multiple high major offers.
Mason Lockett – 2026 – G – Oswego East
Lockett easily could have been included as part of the first team but lands here on the second. After missing much of his junior season, look for Lockett to rebound in his senior season in a big way after his extremely high level of play throughout the spring and summer. The 6’5” guard is one of the most skilled, versatile, and impactful players in the entire state. Lockett is committed to DePaul.
Brady Pettigrew – 2028 – G – Bolingbrook
After earning special mention all-state honors as just a freshman, look for Pettigrew to have plenty more opportunity for Bolingbrook this season. Gone are JT Pettigrew and Davion Thompson from last year’s team. Look for Pettigrew to have a huge sophomore season and show what makes him one the elite 2028 prospects in the entire nation.
Colin Stack – 2026 – C – Benet Academy
The towering seven-footer has continued to take great strides in his game throughout his high school career and look for that to continue to result in a big senior season. Benet lost a lot of talent from last season’s state semifinal team headlined by Blake Fagbemi and Daniel Pauliukonis which should give Stack plenty of opportunity to shine. With Full Package this summer, Stack won the NY2LA Association Championship.
Jamsion White – 2026 – F – East St. Louis
During the summer, White transferred to East St. Louis and into the state of Illinois from Chaminade in St. Louis. While he may be the top prospect in the senior class and could easily finish the season first team, White starts the season here. The 6’8” forward had a huge summer winning Peach Jam with Brad Beal Elite. White committed to Penn State back in September.
