One of the top available forwards in Illinois’ 2024 class is CJ Worsham. The 6’7” small forward of Christ The King in Chicago and Denard Bros. Pro currently has himself a couple of division two offers with plenty of other interest.

Right now, the two offers for the senior forward are from Ferris State and Northwood University. Other programs recruiting him include Central Missouri, Eastern Illinois, Lincoln Memorial, Metro State, SIU, SIUE, Western Illinois, among several others.

“My visit was great, they really made me feel like family,” Worsham said about Ferris State. On the other school to offer him, he said “Northwood from the moment that I got the call from Coach Griffin, I felt a family bond. And that he really wanted to connect with me not only as a player but as a young man.”

Over the course of the spring and summer while playing with Denard Bros. Pro, he proved to be one of the most versatile and impactful forwards on the NY2LA Association. “Rebounding, playmaking, defensive intensity, and high-level scoring,” are the things Worsham said he can bring to a college program.

Next up for Worsham is a visit to SIUE which he is planning on visiting very soon. While he doesn’t have a set timeline on any commitment, he would like to do so before state playoffs start.
