Over the course of the spring and summer, 2026 Anthony Blaackar was one a few true breakout stars on the NY2LA Association while playing with Moss Elite. The 6’2” point guard of Lloyd Memorial High School (KY) was named to the 15U second team all-association with his stellar grassroots season.

While only a sophomore, Blaackar has a very high skill level with a wide range of tools to his game. The athletic point guard is a skilled scorer who excels playing on the attack but also has a very good ability to create for others. Whether it is getting all the way to the basket or creating for himself in the mid-range, the sophomore can score the ball at a very high rate. While he is a real standout on the offensive side of the ball, he is also a very tough on ball defender to be a dominant two-way guard.

“Guard who can defend and score at will with a well-rounded game,” is what Blaackar said describing his own game. One part of his play that he is looking to improve is becoming a more consistent three-point shooter.

At this point still early in his high school career, the recruitment process for Blaackar is just beginning. With all his tools and play on both ends of the floor, look for the sophomore point guard to get on plenty of new college coaches’ radars in his upcoming high school season. In his upcoming season his goal is to “help lead my team out of the ninth region.”
